The children have enjoyed having masks and practised cutting skills. We have made story boards where children could use their imagination and make up their own versions of it and place their characters where they wanted. The children have also made their own maps of the farm and you can see couple of lovely examples here. The children also used story puppets to further their literacy skills and played with messy tuff trays set up as the farm as well as bugs and insects tray further during the week.We explored mathematics with ladybird bingo and lotto games where the children had to organise and identify numbers. We have ended the week with art and craft such as recycling modelling, salt dough ladybirds and potato printing all in the theme of the story we have read this week.It certainly was a busy week!
