This Christmas, our committee chair is raising money for preschool with her spectacular Christmas lights display!

The switch on is on Sunday 1st December at 4:30 in Marasca End, off Holt Drive. Please come along and support the preschool; we are hoping to also feature in the local press with a picture of preschool children at the event.

As well as having a donation box outside her house, a Just Giving page has been set up for donations to preschool:

The Committee are again providing a Christmas party for the children to enjoy in the afternoon of Wednesday, December 18th, where it has been rumoured Santa himself might put in an appearance.

All children are invited; those who do not normally attend pre school on Thursday afternoons will need to be accompanied by a parent/carer please.

The children will be performing their annual Christmas concert on Friday, December 13. All children will have been rehearsing so we do encourage children who do not normally attend on Fridays to join us too.

There will be a hot lunch of jacket potatoes served afterwards and we will be having our stalls and raffle.

We hope you and your family will be able to join us.

Due to the General Election being held on Thursday, December 12 and the village hall being used as a polling station, pre-school will be shut on that day. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

This week, we are reading all about the Colour Monster. The story is about a mixed up monster, who has his emotions in a muddle. To help understand his emotions, the book uses colours: yellow is happy, green is calm, red is angry, blue is sad, black is fear and pink is love. We will be talking about how we feel and what colour lay we are.
